Oh my. Oh my. Oh my!
I guess I have been slacking off blogging again.
And New Year is around the corner too.
And why am i feeling so sad? Not that I'm emo. Or maybe i am?
But 2008 has been a great year. a fun year. a sad year. a lovable year.
Sadly, there is no word to describe all these mixed emotions.
Everything just happens so fast in a blink of an eye.
And then there's 2009.
But I would not let 2008 be forgotten. So that's why I'm writing this post.
May it be left in my archive for all the joy, sad, love memories of 2008.
Oh. and I'm proud to say that " STORIESANDALIBIS0803 " is 1 year and 7 months old.
And I got to admit that the no. of posts I have is really pathetic for being 1 year and 7 months.
I'm really sorry " STORIESANDALIBIS0803 " for all the days i missed out blogging.
Hopefully, I'm going to make it up to you for 2009.
2008 has been an enjoyable year. And in every year, there is always first for everything. So, I'm going to list down some of the things that are still in my mind that I have done and experienced for the very first time in my life. And it's all in 2008.
2008 First Time List.
First time to experience ice-skating. (And i fell hard on my butt 8 times.)
First time being a chairperson for the class. (Hopefully, i did a good job! :P)
First time being a circus in front of everyone in lecture theatre. (Remember OB lecture? NO!? The one i juggled 3 balls? :P)
First time being surprised for my birthday.(Oh. and i missed that feeling)
First time being a ghost for nightwalk. (And i wonder why people guessed me correctly?)
First time actually understanding and speaking japanese. (ARIGATO!)
First time karaoke-ing in front of my friends. (Man, i sound terrible)
First time learn how to bake a cake. (Man missed those oreo cheesecake)
First time TRYING to understand and speak french. (Tongue-Twister!)
First time being a promoter. (Missed those luggages)
First time being a facilitator for a camp. (And i want to do it again! :P)
First time putting my face on youtube.com. (a.k.a Vlogging!)
First time getting scam emails on hotmail. (And now there is alot in my junk box)
First time participating in Guinness World Record. (LOL. By only downloading Firefox :P)
First time being in a live gig. (Baybeats!)
First time wearing shorts to school. (Sexy leg right? :P)
First time to create my new game! (I think i would call it "Chi Chi Om" :P)
First time being so scared in my life. (Eventhough I'm a ghost.)
So there you go. That kind of summarize what i experienced and done for the very first time. Well, there's still more. But I think I just leave those "memories" in my heart. haha.

If i'm right, there was no response from Wahid. Because when we heard that, we were laughing our asses off and so might Wahid. LOL!
I think it was lecture theatre 17. Don't be shock if any of you have lectures on that theatre. LOL! :)

It's good to be back! Well to blogging and not vlogging of course. Didn't have time to blog and absolutely didn't have time to vlog. Will stop vlogging for now. (Awwwww.... miss me? LOL! kidding.) Anyway the next time i will be posting a vlog, is probably with someone familiar. Who? That's for me to know and for you to find out! :)
A lot of things happened when i was in hiatus. Or should i say MIA. Class chalet pass by so fast, Hari Raya just happen to be finishing and me a promoter has finally gone back to school. Being a promoter is probably something i didn't expect to be. I thought that i should try something different than warehousing work like DHL so there you go! Me a promoter! It was really fun and at the same time irritating to interact with customers.
But i sure had fun interacting with other promoters be it from the same company or not. And probably some blur cashiers who really made me laugh.
" Can i have the PAID stickers? PAID. P..A..I..D.. "
" Huh? *Looks at me blurly* Pig? "
Ha ha. That's probably one of the unforgettable moments. Seriously. I don't want a pig sticker. LOL! :)
Other than that, promoters there are really friendly and helpful in teaching me how to ineract with customers. Oh well, part-time job finished! Will probably be back to work on saturday and sunday only.
Enough said. Let me show you what the luggage atmosphere in Takashimaya feels like, How my modelling skills will promote luggage (probably NOT!) and the Battle of Luggages! Beware of LOTS of luggage pictures coming right down! :)
Girls who pass by will probably be in love with the PINK PIERRE CARDIN hardcase on the right corner.
Guys on the other hand just find the CAMEL ACTIVE bag macho! LOL!
Infamous Six-Wheeler
There is this funny guy named Desmond who is the promoter for the luggage ELLE just beside my counter. And he LOVES promoting this model of ELLE luggage. It is because it is the only luggage that comes with a SIX wheeler. Seriously, crazy! ha ha ha.
You can see the six wheel on the first picture. You may not heard of a SIX wheel luggage before. Don't worry, you are in the same boat with me. Customer just love the idea of more wheels. So as soon as he learnt that, he came up with his favourite catchphrase everytime customers passby his counter.
" This is a SIX wheeler! *Thumbs up* "
It's funny to see how customers are awed at such stuff. His catchphrase actually worked! And i'm awed too. :)
Then, his catchphrase changed to the " 10% LESS for the weekends only ". Not much a success from his " SIX Wheeler " catchphrase. ha ha ha. Oh. and did i mention he LOVES spelling the word "LUGGAGE" to "LAGGAGE"? He does this everytime on the delivery form. But learnt his lesson through the use of dictionary on his NOKIA handphone. ha ha ha. :P
Battle of the Luggages

On the left side, we have the PINK PIERRE CARDIN and on the right, we have the PINK ELLE!
The competition was started by a beautiful japanese lady who came to Takashimaya seeking a cute luggage. If i'm not wrong, her name was SAKI. And she spent almost 2 hours in dilemma searching for the right one. Unfortunately, she didn't know that both brands are from different company. So we have a fierce battle.
Using my talented japanese knowledge, i tried speaking japanese to her. ( See the word TRIED? LOL!) .
" Kore wa chotto kawaii desu ne "
(This is cute isn't it?)
" Ahh! Hai! Kawaii desu "
(Ahh! Yes! Cute!)
Oh my. She actually understood me! and even agreed with what i said. But i think for a moment there, she was really amazed and at the same time felt weird when i spoke japanese. LOL! :X
But soon she approached the PINK ELLE as the luggage was pure PINK unlike my luggage which was a two colour tone, PINK and GREY.
So in the end, who won? A SAMSONITE won! It's all because of her father which came down there and chose for her. Oh well...
FYI - Samsonite is a different brand and from a different company from us. :(
Me a Model!?
Below are some modelling pictures i took to promote the luggages and bags. (Nah...). Ok! Don't PUKE ok? LOL!
An ELLE sling bag caught my eye. It was really nice and i thought of buying one. But luckily i didn't. Because i just learnt from my 1st week French class that the meaning of "ELLE" is actually a "SHE". ha ha ha.
The CAMEL ACTIVE duffel bag was another eyecatcher. Guys will probably be liking this. :)
Well.. ELLE paid me to model for one of their hardcase. NOT! (Ignore the small kid behind)
And PIERRE CARDIN paid me to test their product.
This luggage won't break because of its polycarbonate material. Trust me! :)
I can say that ELLE do have a lot of wonderful and attractive colours on their hardcases.

A weird name for the place i worked. " TALKING HALL "?
Made me confused for " DOCKING HALL " the first time i was asked to go to. :P
Overall i would never forget the experience i got from being a promoter in Takashimaya. I would'nt say its fun and easy but i would say it is a good experience to learn how to interact with customers. Definitely! :)
Class Chalet 2008!
Class Chalet was fun! I won't say it is the best as not all of our classmates showed up. And i would say that being the Class Chairman, it is every Chairman dream to have full attendance in such event. But i would'nt blame you guys as you guys are busy. Seriously i won't! :) Or maybe i'm just a bad Chairman. ha ha ha. Anyway, being Chairman for 2E03 was fun and has definitely taught me a lot of things! :) :) :) :) :)
Hari Raya 2008!
This year Hari Raya was Fun, FUn, and more FUN! More people means more houses. More houses means more food and ahem.. green packets. LOL! Took pictures at every houses we went. Sadly i had to go off early. Really sorry but my house was the LAST for me! Would love to go out again with you guys! But time passes by so fast, that it felt that Hari Raya will just be around the corner. But i have to go through fasting first! :P
Sorry for the late posting on the Class Chalet and Hari Raya pictures! Blogger is just irritating when uploading to their servers. So i put it in on my imeem. Again, sorry if most of the pictures are blurry. Time to get a new camera! :)

Went baybeat-ing on saturday and i really enjoyed myself. Totally. I exhausted myself.
But what's not to enjoy when you have these crazy friends? ha ha ha.
Met up at Tampines interchange at 3p.m. Well i reached at 3.05pm. But that " someone " who asked us to meet up at 3p.m came at 3.15pm. lol!. Went off to SAFRA to play bowling with them. You know the game i used to blog how i suck-ed at it? Well, it did'nt turn out too bad this time around. ha ha ha.

I totally felt sick during that time. I don't know. My immune system seems to be really weak in the afternoon. I don't know why. Oops my picture and Radin is not with me right now.

At last, i get to see Ismail. It has been a long time. Oh and his girlfriend, Noriz.
Electrico! We came in just in time to watch Electrico perform. They were incredible and the crowd too. They actually managed to play 6 songs. But i only knew one song, " Love in new wave ". LOL!
Saw some familiar faces at Baybeats. A hard tap from the back. Wondered who it was? It was Hafiz and my cousin, Ridhwan. Hafiz is always spotted with his SLR camera. Nice! They were both queueing up to get their custom tees.
Then, saw somewhat a familiar face but i was'nt sure with all the crowd. HanLin and Hizam with their friends. And HanLin was like,
" Taufiq! Why are you here!? "
Hizam was like,
" Eh!? Ha ha ha. "
I know! I'm surprised to be there myself! lol. :)
Whoa! They did'nt see that coming until they snapped the pictures. :)
What!? I'm seriously out of pose. ha ha ha.
I can't believe they managed to capture a picture of me burping. lol!.
As you can see from the above picture, that i really enjoyed myself that day. It was fun, joy, laughter, crazy, wild.... All of the happy words (I'm just running out of vocabulary). All thanks to these people!
Oh! Thank you so much for asking me out! And they picked the perfect time to ask me out. It was the day after my last exam. You guys are totally stress relievers! And i'm happy i managed to get in my house after that. You know what i mean. lol! :)
