Have you received your FedEx scam yet?
Hey! *cough* I'm feeling sick today. I think i'm going to have a fever soon. :(
Anyway, today's topic is " Have you received your FedEx scam yet? ". Got up this morning and when i signed into my account, i had a junk mail. From "Teo Kian".
Now who the hell is " Teo Kian "? Clicked on it and it's from FedEx.
Oh i see. Hmm.. FedEx huh?
It states here that i won $800K and it's in US dollar! Weeeee! I'm a millionnaire! ha ha ha.
I was so happy until i read the next sentence, " your colleague explained that he is from Malaysia ". OMG! I didn't know i had a colleague from MALAYSIA! and he is now in Nigeria. Oh.... great!
So now they asked for my name, phone number, postal address, city, state and country. Hmm.. fishy... Oh you can take down the phone number. And if you do call, tell TEO KIAN, I say " Hi! ". :)
Oh! I love this part. They said they were not instructed to email me. Oh that's ok. Then they state my sender did not leave his phone number BECAUSE he just arrived Nigeria and he hasn't fix his phone yet! LOL. Have not fix his phone yet? Is that an indirect insult to Nigeria?
I don't know how they got my email. Seriously. Random pick? Don't think so. And what i'm surprised is that they used the company name FedEx. So lesson learned, don't ever trust an email stating that you won something when you didn't even participate in anything. Especially if that email goes directly to your JUNK mail. Well done Hotmail for the good security features! :)
